Tri-LinkConverged radio

Three networks. One radio.

Relay is a converged radio. P25, cellular and satellite are built into the same handset, and Tri-Link moves every call to the best path on its own, mid-sentence if it has to.

Land mobile radio

P25 Phase I and II

Talkgroups, trunking and direct mode on your agency’s existing system. The first choice whenever a site is in range.

Cellular

Whizz Wireless 6G+

Push-to-talk over Dendrix Connect with priority and preemption, for the places your towers do not reach and the moments they are busy.2

Satellite

Dendrix Orbit

A low-orbit satellite link for voice, location and emergency alerts when there is no tower of any kind in sight. Powered by Starveil.34

  1. Path 1P25

    In range of a site

Voice stays on P25. Talk Record and location travel over cellular in parallel.

  2. Path 2Cellular

    Out of P25 range

Tri-Link moves the talkgroup to Whizz 6G+ in under 300 milliseconds. Dispatch hears no difference.

  3. Path 3Satellite

    Out of everything

The radio finds the sky. Emergency alerts and location always get through.5

Relay R9

Made to be picked up.

A moulded shell that fits a gloved hand, a screen that fills the glass and a blue ring you can find on a dark belt.

Talk RecordDendrix Evidence

Nothing said is lost.

Every transmission is saved to Dendrix Evidence with the unit, talkgroup, time and location. AutoScribe writes the transcript and attaches it to the incident in Hivemind.§

From key-up to the record.

Each transmission takes the same path, with a hash recorded at every step.

  1. Step 1Relay

    Key up

The officer presses the side button. Relay tags the audio with unit, talkgroup and position.

  2. Step 2Dendrix Connect

    Carried

Audio goes out over the best path Tri-Link can find: P25, Whizz Wireless 6G+ or Dendrix Orbit satellite.

  3. Step 3Dendrix Evidence

    Kept

The transmission is stored with its custody record and linked to any open incident.

  4. Step 4AutoScribe

    Written down

A transcript is ready for review before the officer clears the call.8

Frequently asked questions

Does Relay work with our existing P25 system?

Relay R9 and R5 Field work on P25 Phase I and Phase II systems, conventional and trunked. Talk Record, Live Location and Sentry Link require Dendrix Connect.

Can an officer turn Talk Record off?

Talk Record follows your agency's policy. Each change of state is recorded in the device log.13

What happens if Dendrix Connect is unavailable?

Tri-Link keeps voice on P25 or moves it to Dendrix Orbit satellite. Recordings are held on the radio and upload when cellular returns. See current network advisories.

Why does my radio show a unit ID I do not recognize?

Unit IDs are reported by the transmitting radio. If an ID is not on your agency's roster, report it to your system administrator with the time and talkgroup.14

Does Talk Record pick up conversations when no one is transmitting?

Relay records only while the side button is held. Officers sometimes hold it longer than they realize.15

Who owns the radios?

Relay is provided as part of your Officer Safety Plan. Radios are replaced at each hardware refresh at no additional cost.

See the platform with your own workflows.

A Public Safety Advisor will walk your team through Sentry, Dendrix Evidence and the Officer Safety Plan.
